As you know, volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization as we operate as a non-profit organization and are 100% volunteer based.It is because of folks like you that make the SoundView experience great for our youth.As a volunteer, Little League International mandates that you complete the following mandatory training for the safety and well-being of all of our participants:

• Background Check (League will initiate) - All Volunteers

• Abuse Awareness Training - All Volunteers

  • To complete the Abuse Awareness course:

    • Please navigate toUSABDevelops.com

    • Click “Register” at the top right of the page.

    • Go through the process of creating an account if you have not previously done so.

    • When creating an account, there is a space open for “Organization.” Type “Little League International.” It should pop up in the drop-down box.

    • After creating an account, Click the “My Profile” button in the top left menu and sign in.

    • Select the “Education” box midway on the web page.

    • Select the “Courses” box near the top of the web page.

    • Scroll to the “Abuse Awareness for Adults”.

    • Click on the “BASE Certification” followed by “Start Course” to begin the course.

    • When your course is completed, there will be a short quiz for you to complete.

    • To download/print the certificate, go to your name in the upper right-hand corner. Select “My Account” from the drop-down menu.

    • Go to “Courses” under “My Profile”. A certificate will be available under the course title for you to download and print.

If you are interested in coaching Spring Ball, please click here and complete (Coaching Volunteer Interest Form). In addition, please register as a volunteer @www.soundviewll.com. If you are a returning Head Coach or Assistant Coach, completing both of these steps is a requirement.

Please forward completed training certificates to[email protected].These items must be completed and will be tracked for compliance.Any individuals who are not in compliance will not be allowed to volunteer and will be assessed the $40 Non-Volunteer Fee.
