As you know, volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization as we operate as a non-profit organization and are 100% volunteer based. It is because of folks like you that make the SoundView experience great for our youth. After registering as a volunteer, please complete all applicable training within a two-week time period. As a volunteer, Little League International mandates that you complete the following mandatory training for the safety and well-being of all of our participants:
Background Check (League will initiate) - All Volunteers (Annual)
- After registering, you will receive a separate email from JDP to submit your background check digitally within a few days.
Abuse Awareness Training - All Volunteers (Annual Training) **New Course for 2026** - To complete the Abuse Awareness course:
- Please navigate to Abuse Awareness Training Course - Little League
- Click “Login to Training Portal” or "Create Account" at the bottom of the page.
- Go through the process of creating an account if you have not previously done so.
- When creating an account, enter the required information. Type SoundView Little League or League ID#4471003. SoundView LL should pop up in the drop-down box.
- After creating an account, sign in.
- When your course is completed, there will be a short quiz for you to complete.
- To download/print the certificate, a pdf. copy will be sent to your email address.
- Your completed training will automatically be added to our database for tracking.
Diamond Leaders Training-All Head Coach & Assistant Coaches (One Time Training)

- Concussion Training - All Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches (Annual Training)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training - All Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches (Annual Training)
- Mental Health & Youth Sports - All Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches (Annual Training)
- Your completed trainings will automatically be added to the NAYS database for tracking.
If you are interested in coaching Spring Ball, please click here and complete ( Coaching Volunteer Interest Form). In addition, please register as a volunteer @ www.soundviewll.com. If you are a returning Head Coach or Assistant Coach, completing both of these steps is a requirement. Please forward completed training certificates to [email protected]. These items must be completed and will be tracked for compliance. Any individuals who are not in compliance will not be allowed to volunteer and will be assessed the $45 Non-Volunteer Fee.
